On October 25th, the Arise Educational Foundation embarked on the long-awaited excursion to Accra.

At 7 a.m., 35 children from classes 1 to JHS 1 boarded the bus for the trip to Accra.

During the drive through Accra, there were already many things to see, and the students discovered various landmarks. Around 10 a.m., we reached our first destination, the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. There, we had a tour of the park, where the students learned a lot about the independence fighter and first president of Ghana.

The second destination was the Accra Zoo. Upon arrival, we had Kenkey to refuel,and after lunch, we went on a tour through the zoo.

From monkeys and zebras to lions, there were many animals to observe. The day ended with songs being sung on the bus ride back, and for everyone, it was a wonderful experience that will be remembered.
