We could start to build our school.

Our first phase of the project started with buildung the Foundation and over the last 2 weeks our workers were digging excavation pits down to the level of the groundwater. They also fabricated mats for the base of the steel colums which are important for the stability of the foundation. Unfortunately there were some heavy rainfalls which caused the excavation pits to fill up with water. This slowed down the whole process because it took our workers 2 days to pump the water out of the excavation pit. Since they finally managed to remove the water they could continue with the concrete filling. The Concrete mixers were turned on and all of the trenches could be filled up with the concrete. Now we really need to hope that it doesn’t rain during the next days.
